Junior Division
Students with prior training expand on the fundamentals of classical ballet in the Junior Division. During this course sequence, students are introduced to a more disciplined class structure. We continue our emphasis on developing healthy, strong of mind and body dancers during these years in the Junior Division.


Ballet 3A
Students are taught elementary technique in simple combinations, with an increased emphasis on understanding terminology. For students who have completed 1 or 2 years of formal ballet study.
Meets once per week.

Ballet 3B
Students are taught elementary technique twice each week in combinations of gradually increasing complexity with an expanded range of ballet terminology. For students who have completed 2 or 3 years of formal ballet study.

Ballet 4
Students will learn an expanded range of technical skills in exercises of moderate complexity. There is an increased emphasis on placement, strengthening of the core muscles, ankles and feet in preparation for pointe work. Placement by instructor.

MAKE-UP CLASSES. We encourage students to make up any missed classes during the semester. Make-up classes should be in the level the student is enrolled in, if possible, or in the level below and are allowed only during the semester of the missed class.
